I've accidentally ended up with a McFarlane Toys theme week! I promise, it wasn't intentional. Honestly, I log these reviews weeks in advance, so there can be patterns that show up that I truly never expected. Still, it's about time I take a look at the second half of the McFarlane Toys combiner with today's review, Top Gun! You might (or might not) remember that I previously reviewed his.. uhm.. bottom half with Bottom Line. This figure was released at the same time and makes up the upper half of the combiner.

McFarlane Toys 1998 Bottom Line
I have reviewed McFarlane Toys a few times and.. to be honest.. I'm going to be reviewing a lot more before it's all over with. You just can't look at modern vintage toys without looking at McFarlane. They did so many things right, and so many more things very, very wrong. This time, I'm taking a look at a figure called Bottom Line, which was made after McFarlane Toys had been running for a few years. Is he something done right or done wrong? Let's find out!

Transformers G1 - Menasor
The toy reviews on this site are probably going to be a bit untraditional. I'm far more concerned with nostalgic value and modern appeal than I am technical aspects of the toy. I'll spend most of my talking about what made the toy special in the past, and how well it adapts to modern sensibilities than specific paint applications or posing issues. That all being said, let's kick off our inaugural review with Menasor, one of the Scramble City Transformers from 1986. Sherman, fire up the WayWayBack Machine!
